A few afternoon’s ago my colleague and I were set the task of beginning preliminary research into compiling information regarding Welsh composers. This information has the ultimate goal as ending up in the Ensemble Crymus’ very own ‘Welsh Chamber Music Database.’
As exciting as this prospect is, it is not with out its difficulty. The main one being that though Wales has a fairly large compositional output; a lot of this output remains unpublished. However, we shall endeavour to collect all the information we can.
This on going project combined with the Peter and the Wolf project happening this November, makes it a very exciting time for Ensemble Crymu.
