We’re throwing one of the biggest celebrations of chamber music in Wales, an annual festival which we call ChamberFest. And the theme for the 2015 event will be the music of J.S. Bach, with the main event taking place on March 20th and 21st – the 21st March would have been Bach’s birthday.
The streets will be alive with the sounds of Bach’s music! That’s the plan at least for North Wales based chamber music group, Ensemble Cymru; if they are able to raise enough funds from their upcoming Big Give Christmas fundraising campaign which launches at Venue Cymru on 4 December 2014.
Ensemble Cymru are delighted to have been given generous pledges totalling £3800. What’s next? The next stage in the challenge is the donation phase which begins Thursday 4th December. What does this mean? During this phase (from Thursday 4th December, 10am), when a donation is made, 75% of it will be matched from the pledge,… Continue reading The Big Give update – see how much we’ve raised already!
