Viola: Sara Roberts

Sara is from Llanfairpwll, Anglesey, where she was taught the violin by Almut Bone and Margaret Scourse before taking up the viola at the age of 15. Sara studied with Penny Stirling and Louise Lansdown at the RNCM.

Sara completed her postgraduate studies with Isabel Charisius at the Hochschule Musik in Lucerne and with Gabor Takacs-Nagy in Geneva. She is a founder member of the Benyounes Quartet, who were prizewinners at the 1st International Sandor Vegh String Quartet Competition in Budapest.
