Can you think of a new project you could set up and deliver with a community group in your&nbsp;local&nbsp;area?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>If you have answered yes to all 3 questions, please read on!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mid Wales Opera and Ensemble Cymru want to support performers and composers to work with communities and create projects&nbsp;that\u2026<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>can happen between November 2020 and end of March 2021 whilst being compliant with shifting Covid-19 regulations <\/li><li>initiate a genuine musical \/ community project rooted in local people, history, landscape or culture<\/li><li>will create a hybrid-style performance both live and digital<\/li><li>allow a community in Wales or part of to make a connection with opera or chamber music<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What we can offer you\u2026<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>between \u00a3500 and \u00a35,000 to cover total project costs<\/li><li>advice on performance and technical aspects of the work<\/li><li>help with all areas of marketing<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If you have an idea, please\u2026<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>tell us BRIEFLY about your idea \u2013 in Welsh or English \u2013 either in 300 written words or in a 2 minute recording, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>your name and contact details<\/li><li>what your idea is<\/li><li>where your community is<\/li><li>why you want to do the project \/ the inspiration for the idea<\/li><li>who it involves and how<\/li><li>what it would cost<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ideas should reach us by&nbsp;<strong>5pm on Friday November 6th<\/strong>&nbsp;email&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:lydia@midwalesopera.co.uk\">lydia@midwalesopera.co.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will then tell you by&nbsp;<strong>Friday November 13th<\/strong>&nbsp;if we want you to work with us and develop a project to submit to the second stage, which will involve sending us more details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Read more about&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ensemble.cymru\/en\/music-at-your-place\/\">Cerddoriaeth eich Milltir Sgwar \/ Music at Your Place<\/a>, a joint Mid Wales Opera\/Ensemble Cymru project developed in response to COVID-19.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you a musician, singer or composer of opera, vocal or chamber-scale&nbsp;music?
