That\u2019s the plan at least for North Wales based chamber music group, Ensemble Cymru; if they are able to raise enough funds from their upcoming Big Give Christmas fundraising campaign which launches at Venue Cymru on 4 December 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>The classical music organisation plans to throw the biggest celebration of chamber music in Wales next March, and you\u2019re all invited! And the theme of the ChamberFest event for 2015 will be the music of J.S. Bach; with the celebrations reaching a climax on March 21st, which would have been Bach\u2019s Birthday. And the project has already won the backing of two major North Wales based arts venues, Pontio and Venue Cymru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ensemble Cymru\u2019s Artistic Director, Peryn Clement-Evans said: \u201cWe really want this to be a celebration that brings together the whole community, so we\u2019re talking to schools, community groups, music groups and workplaces to see how they can play their part in ChamberFest. So if you\u2019d like to perform some Bach music next March, please get in touch as we\u2019d love to hear your ideas! Whether you\u2019d like to set up a staff choir, be part of a Bach Flash Mob or maybe play some Bach as part of a piano marathon \u2013 do let us know.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ensemblecymru.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Codir-to-cai_gwyn-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"Codir to cai_gwyn\" class=\"wp-image-2873\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The charity needs to raise money to turn the plans for the ChamberFest into a reality, which is where the Big Give comes in. The Big Give is a match funding scheme so money that is donated to Ensemble Cymru via the <a title=\"Donate via the Big Give website\" href=\"https:\/\/secure.thebiggive.org.uk\/donation\/to\/7031\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Big Give website<\/a> on December 4th, 5th and 6th will be matched \u00a31 for \u00a31 \u2013 doubling your donation!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/secure.thebiggive.org.uk\/donation\/to\/7031\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com\/assets.thebiggive.org.uk\/static\/images\/donate_now.jpg\" alt=\"Donate Online\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><br>To launch the Big Give fundraiser, Ensemble Cymru is holding a <a title=\"Big Give coffee morning at Venue Cymru\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ensemblecymru.co.uk\/en\/events\/344\/bore-coffi-y-big-givebig-give-coffee-morning\/\">coffee morning at Venue Cymru on 4 December, 9:30am \u2013 11am. <\/a>There will be live music, the chance to learn more about the ChamberFest event and computers will also be provided if you choose to donate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To find out more about the Big Give or to register your interest in being part of ChamberFest call 01248 383 257 or text your name to 07537 416 257.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The streets will be alive with the sounds of Bach\u2019s music!
