Ensemble Cymru creates opportunities for young and early career composers

In September 2019, a trio of Peryn Clement-Evans (clarinet), Nicola Pearce (cello) and Richard Ormond (piano) started an initial week-long residency with students from across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.  Alongside Lynne Plowman they led three composition workshops for 400 GCSE and A level students.

Ensemble Cymru return to St David’s Hall with Schubert masterpiece

Ensemble Cymru embark on most ambitious chamber music tour to date this May

To close their Anniversary Season, Wales’s leading chamber music ensemble, Ensemble Cymru, is embarking on its most ambitious concert tour to date featuring nine top flight musicians and music from Handel to Debussy, as well as a brand new commission by Welsh composer, Gareth Glyn.
