Ensemble Cymru begins its new season with an utterly gorgeous violin and harp recital, presenting music by a myriad of composers from Donizetti to Schumann and including Saint-Saens’s brilliant and luxuriant Fantaisie for violin and harp, written at the turn of the twentieth century when the composer was at the height of his fame.
