Sara Roberts and Richard Ormrod perform Rebecca Clarke’s passionate, rhapsodic and rightly celebrated Sonata for Viola and Piano from 1919, her greatest work, and a wonderful synthesis of French impressionism with rugged English folk-inspired beauty. Some favourite Robert Schumann completes the programme.
