The enchanting story of Peter and the Wolf was brought to television screens over Christmas thanks to Ensemble Cymru. Children and adults across Wales tuned into S4C on Christmas Day to see Prokofiev’s Pedr a’r Blaidd (Peter and the Wolf) with music performed by Ensemble Cymru’s 30-piece orchestra and the story narrated by Welsh actor, Rhys Ifans.
If you were too busy finishing off your turkey sandwich and missed the programme, don’t panic! There’s another chance to watch online, follow this link to see Pedr A’r Blaidd on S4C.
Watching again online is all well and good, but nothing beats being in the audience, right?! Well as luck would have it Pedr a’r Blaidd is embarking on its national tour in March. Tickets are on sale at the venues, take a look at the tour schedule to find out when the show is coming to a town near you.
Visit our Pedr.org webpage for more information on the tour.
