On the eve of Menai Seafood Festival, relax with an evening of music by Mozart performed on the waterfront by Ensemble Cymru.
What better way to discover and enjoy the beauty of Mozart’s chamber works?
The pieces, performed by principal performers of Ensemble Cymru, will include the wistful melody of Clarinet Quintet in A, K. 581, the playful Oboe Quartet in F, K. 370 and the lively Flute Quartet in D, K.285, one of Mozart’s four early flute compositions.
Tickets cost £10.00 per person (£8 for Friends of Ensemble Cymru).
Pieces performed will include the following:
Clarinet – Peryn Clement-Evans
Flute – Jonathan Rimmer
Oboe – Alun Darbyshire (Guest Artist). Originally from Anglesey, Alun has performed as soloist with London Festival Orchestra, Northern Chamber Orchestra, Brighton Philharmonic, Adderbury Ensemble and Northern Sinfonia.
Violins: Christiana Mavron, Mary Hofman
Viola: Thomas Kirby
Cello: Nicola Pearc
Hospitality from Plas Rhianfa and Ye Olde Bulls Head will also be available at this unique event.
