Clarinet: Christopher Goodman

Since graduating from the Royal College of Music in 2010 where he studied as a Foundation Scholar, Chris has been performing with orchestras, chamber groups, opera companies and theatre productions as well as in the recording studio and occasionally as a soloist.

He performed Weber’s second concerto at Shanghai Oriental Arts Center and the Mozart concerto at St Giles in the fields, London, with London Arte Chamber Orchestra. Recent chamber appearances include the Brahms Quintet at St James Piccadilly with Orpheus Sinfonia and Prokofiev Hebrew Themes at Chichester Festival.

He maintains an active freelance orchestral career and has performed with orchestras such as London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic & Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestras, Royal Northern Sinfonia, English National Opera, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Ulster Orchestra and Manchester Camerata. He was on trial for the position of sub-principal Clarinet with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and the same position at Welsh National Opera.

When not performing, Chris enjoys improvising on Tenor Sax, reading and running as far as his legs will allow.
