Having grown up in Wales, Martin studied at the Guildhall School and is now a freelance Bass player.
He enjoys a variety of music, working with London Chamber Orchestra, Philharmonia, Royal Philarmonic Orchestra, deputising in Les Miserables regularly along with contemporary dance and actor-muso projects. He also runs and surfs regularly. Martin’s double bass has very unusual ‘Bussetto’ corners that are unique to Mittenwald German basses, particularly of the mid 1800’s.
