Chamber music champions, Ensemble Cymru, bring their popular Concert Series to The Great Hall, Swansea for the very first time. Showcasing the finest chamber music from Wales and across the world, this concert from Ensemble Cymru is not to be missed!

Royal harpist Anne Denholm, principal flautist Jonathan Rimmer and violist Lucy Nolan, take us through evocations of the natural world with Sally Beamish’s Between Earth and Sea, and From the Song of Amergin by Welsh composer Hilary Tann. This Debussy-style trio will also capture the reflective and poignant lyricism of Arnold Bax’s Elegiac Trio.

Violinist Elenid Owen and Heather Bills on the cello will join us for a performance of Mozart’s Flute Quartet No. 1 in D major. A performance of Saint-Saëns’s Fantaisie for violin and harp will also feature as part of the programme.
