November Concert
(Harp, Flute, Clarinet, Bassoon)
November 2016 brings an exciting international programme including sonatas from the Baroque and early Classical periods by Vivaldi and C.P.E Bach, alongside the lively ‘Capriccio’ by Franz Poenitz and ‘Deialogau’ (‘Dialogues’) by the treasured Welsh composer Murvyn Burtch – where our principal flautist, Jonathan Rimmer, will join forces with Royal Harpist, Anne Denholm.
We also perform a recent quartet by the Israeli composer Lior Navok – an intricate French-inspired work which brings together all four members of our November quartet, including Peryn Clement-Evans (Principal Clarinettist) and Llinos Elin Owen on bassoon.
Ensemble Cymru are delighted to welcome Anne Denholm, Official Harpist to HRH The Prince of Wales, as Principal Harpist for the 2016-17 season.
